Next part of Demon Cycle - Peter V. Brett. Unfortunately in Poland it was necessary to wait for very long time. Again unfortunately, it has been divided on part. At last, yesterday I ended a first part "the Daylight War". Book tells about war between people and demons. This part is
concentrates on preparation for New Moon when the Demon Prince will invade on earth. People have 30 days to preparation for this battle, ONLY 30 days, because not each of them know what will become on day of New Moon. But not only demons threaten a free lands, also there is exotic army Krasians under command Ahmann Jardir proclaim as “Shar’Dama Ka” in his own language. Formerly a Arlen Bales best friend, now mortal enemies. Arlen Bales it a one of main hero on the Demon Cycle series. He is dates from the small hamlet of Tibbet’s Brook, learnt a harsh lessons about life as
he grew up in a world where hungry demons stalk the night and humanity
is trapped by its own fear. He chose a different path; chose to fight
inherited apathy and the corelings, and eventually he became the Painted
Man, a reluctant saviour.
Only Jardir and Arlen can prepare people on evil which come on at night. And only they can fight with Demons Prince.On this part the Daylight War we lear about Inevera childhood, the most important dama`ting in Krasia. Ofc. it wont reject too a Rojer with his magic fiddle and his friend (and Arlen friend, also Jardir lover) Leesha.
I love Peter V. Brett books. The Demon Cycle series always was at the first place in my fairest book list. And the Daylight War hasn`t convened me. Author has created so perfect world, that when you finished the book you feel empty hole in your brain for few weeks. The Daylight War
is definitely recommended to everyone who like fantasy. The series as a whole is a must-read!!!
